Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus is Madison's gay and gay-friendly men's chorus. Our singing membership of 25 men strives to provide gay, bisexual, transgender and gay friendly men with opportunities for the performance of choral music in a supportive and affirming environment.

Through music, we enrich the lives of our members, the Madison Area gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities and our community at large. Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus exists to provide a visible presence and positive voice in and for the Madison GLBT communities.

Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus presents three major programs each year. Our season begins in the fall with our holiday concert in early December, followed by our fundraiser cabaret in early March and concluding with a late spring concert. In addition to these programs, we perform at special events in and around the Madison community. Our cooperative alliances include OutReach, PFLAG, GSA for Safe Schools, Madison Gay Hockey Association, Fair Wisconsin, New Harvest Foundation, AIDS Resource Center of WI, Stage Q and several faith communities.

The musical repertoire of Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus is as diverse as its members. Most concert performances combine a mixture of classical, contemporary, popular, sacred and Broadway music. In 2007 we celebrated our 10th Anniversary season with the commissioning of two new works for men's chorus: "Things That Never Die", music by Craig Carnahan of a text by Charles Dickens and "Tomorrow, God Willing" music by Elizabeth Alexander text by Garrison Keillor. In 2012 we celebrated our 15th Anniversary season with the commissioning of a full length song cycle based on the stories of chorus members - "Heartlands" by Arthur Durkee.
