Today is MAKE MUSIC MADISON! Join Perfect Harmony's Common Chords at the Henry Vilas Zoo from 3:30-4pm, and at the Monona Public Library from 4:45-5:20pm.

If you can't make it to either place, just go outside in Madison and you're bound to run into somebody somewhere making some great music!

Please, if you're able to, offer some tip money to any hardworking musicians you encounter today (and every day!)

What a perfect weekend! Thank you to everybody who came to our 20th Anniversary concert, which became our best attended single concert ever! We simply love to sing for you, and to raise our voices for those in the community who don't have a voice. Additional thanks to PHMC alums who joined us on stage for "Sing A Rainbow" - what a glorious sound.

The weekend fun continued at Fruitfest with our afternoon show to give back to the community. Members also ran an info booth to talk to festival goers about the choir and how they could sing, volunteer, and attend concerts.

And we officially wrapped up our concert season with our annual meeting and a delicious picnic.

BUT DON'T WORRY! There are still a few summer performances - so check back for more info about upcoming June and August performances within the Greater-Madison area.

TWENTY YEARS OF Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus! Join us Friday, June 2, 2017, 7:30pm at First United Methodist Church - Madison, WI (203 Wisconsin Avenue, Madison)

Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus will celebrate 20 years of choral excellence and community involvement with a June 2 concert appropriately titled "Devotion/Commitment". Themes of devotion to community, family, work, God, country, liberty, and self will be explored through the program selected by Artistic Director Kevin Hage.

Musical selections from Perfect Harmony's repertoire of the past 20 years will include not only old favorites such as "Danny Boy", "Sixteen Tons", "Vive L'Amour" and "America the Beautiful”, but also the first piece sung at Perfect Harmony’s premiere concert in July 1997, “The God Who Gave Us Life” from Randall Thompson’s Testament of Freedom. In addition, the chorus will premiere the commissioned work "Twenty Years: in Celebration of Perfect Harmony" by Margaret Cornils Luke, with lyrics based on submissions from chorus members.

Advanced tickets are $15 and can be obtained from members of the chorus, online at www.perfectharmonychorus.org, or through Brown Paper Tickets (online, at the three locations of the Willy Street Co-op, or at Orange Tree Imports). Tickets at the door will be $20.

Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus is Madison's gay and gay-friendly men's chorus, using music and performance to enrich the lives of its audience and supporters. They serve within the LGBT communities of the area, as well as the Madison Area community at large; in their own words, "we sing to make a better world."
